La Flèche Perdue

The first Spire was constructed in 1230 and lasted until it was dismantled in 1792. The second Spire was unveiled in 1859 and lasted until the fire of 2019. The third Spire is planned to be finished in 2024.

SpyCam

At “Pont des Invalides” you can find a “SpyCam” which is hanging discreetly from a lamppost. I wonder what’s its purpose. It might be for the surveillance of pedestrians, cars, and boats. Or it might be even for decorating. Either way, these features have become part of the actual cityscape.

The art of caging a 300 meter tower. Eiffel Tower at the background looks like caged inside the massive steel beams of this bridge. Both metallic structures, the Eiffel Tower and Debilly's Bridge were constructed for the same purpose; The Exposition Universelle de Paris. The Secret of the eight Cattails
