With submissions numbering up to 1872 entries from 50 countries worldwide, the MUSE Photography Awards is an International Competition catered to professional, amateur, and student photographers on a global level.

    TITLE: Lighthouse DESCRIPTION: Cape Reinga marks the boundary of the Tasman Sea from the Pacific Ocean. The Maori belief that the Cape is the point where the spirits of the dead enter the underworld by climbing the roots of the 800 years old Pohutukawa tree located at the far north end in order to return their original homeland Hawaiki.
