Media covering for the 2015 Volvo Ocean Race at Auckland Stopover

I'm super excited to cover media as a freelance photographer for the Volvo Ocean Race.

Some inspiring ideas are rumbling for what I will do with my footage.

The Volvo Ocean Race is the World's longest professional sporting event and the leading offshore sailing competition.

Seven teams during the nine months of race, will battle against each other in the most fiercest conditions that Nature can throw at them, crossing four oceans and five continents.

There are nine Legs of race, with boats covering 38,739 nautical miles (71,745 Km / 44,580 miles) and with a series of pit stops in 11 countries: Spain, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, China, New Zealand, Brazil, United States, Portugal, France, The Netherlands and Sweden.

It is one of the toughest events in the world of sport and a human challenge like no other.
